This is Life-Size Barbie, A.K.A. "Creepy Barbie".
For the record, the kids don't think she's creepy.
But *I* do.
Don't get me wrong, the kids LOVE her. You can dress her, and style her hair. And she's even got a painted on swimsuit underneath. So that's good.
Life-Size Barbie was a Christmas present for my daughter one year. It was one of those 5 in the morning Black Friday impulse buys--yup.
And when your kid gives you THIS reaction when she gets it--
How can you get rid of it?
Why do I want to get rid of it you ask?
Well, you see, Life-Size Barbie finds her way all over my house.
She sits on the couch.
She sits at the table.
She keeps the kids chairs warm.
She even lies down for a nap every once in a while.
She is everywhere.
And she's big.
And she's confusing because she looks just slightly like my daughter.
At first glance, she's real. It takes a second to realize she's not. And it's hard to keep track of where your kids are when you have to figure out whether a doll is your daughter or not. It's a little insane. And creepy. Yup.
So there you have it. "Creepy Barbie".
How was your day?
